Beginning Computer (Vista)
This course provides students with a
basic understanding of computer components and their functions and then
familiarizes students with the Windows Desktop and file management. Not
only does this course cover both popular operating systems, it also
includes Skill Builder exercises for both Word 2003 and Word 2007. Here
are highlights of topics covered: multitasking, basic computer concepts,
using a word processor, file management and search engine concepts.

and non-competitive. You will be able to complete paintings by
developing your own style with techniques being taught during this
course. It is for the basic beginner and experienced.

This course provides extensive, through
training, Topics to be covered are the Ribbon interface, SmartArt,
Office themes and styles, Excel tables, conditional filtering and
formatting, formula writing, conditional formatting, easier formula
writing and new file formats for easier integration. Enhanced coverage
of PivotTables, data filtering and sorting, charting, and ability to
save workbooks as PDF files is included.

Training
This program addresses topics important
to many paraprofessionals, including those working with students who
have mild to severe disabilities, and students from preschool to high
school age. Since its scope is so broad, the curriculum is organized
around general principles having a wide range of applications.

Learning Microsoft Word '07 Level 1
Word
for windows is a popular Windows-based word processing program. It
is tightly integrated with the Windows operating system and provides a
full featured, document creation environment. The course provides
instruction and practice on document creation, saving and retrieving
files, copying and pasting, setting tabs and margins, spell-checking,
changing fonts and sizes, and a variety of other basic and intermediate
word processing skills.

Topics covered include tables, WordArt
and clip art, themes, styles, page formatting, picture editing,
footnotes and endnotes, captions, and templates. By the end of this
course, student will be well prepared for the topics introduced in
Microsoft Word 2007: Level 3.

Learning Microsoft Word '07 Level 3
Topics covered include creating a table
of contents and an index, tracking changes to documents, reviewing
tracked changes, creating macros and forms, attaching digital signatures
to documents, converting Word documents to web pages, and integrating
Word with other Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Mosaic Tile
This is an introductory class. We will
explore the various types of materials and surfaces in which mosaics can
be made. Each class night we will begin a new project. Each project will
have set goals but will still allow for creativity on your part.
