needed to become an independent stylist. This course

attendance in this program is of the utmost importance.
Earnings &
Advancements
Earnings depend upon the
employer, the quality and speed of a cosmetologist’s
work, the geographic location and a cosmetologist’s
ability to keep regular customers. Cosmetologists are
paid on a salary/commission basis and receive tips. The
median annual income for barbers and cosmetologists
depend upon the size and location of the shop, the
number of hours worked, customers’ tipping habits and
the competition from other barber shops and salons.
